Reading over the holidays: A go-to guide for the entire family
Winter (Break) Is Coming. Which means that for many kiddos, focusing on the festive sights and sounds surrounding them just before the holidays can serve as a distraction to their learning, which oftentimes is left behind over break.
A great way to keep the little ones ready for that first day back is to make reading a top priority during the holiday season, and an ideal way to do that is to find books that spark the interest of your reader – which is even more important if your reader struggles or can’t quite read on their own yet.
Here’s a list of books to keep an eye out for this season that can be enjoyed by the entire family – no matter the age.
